Something of interest is the applications of wearable resistance (WR) in return to play (RTP). I’m no expert in RTP and have done no research in this area, so would like to run these thoughts past you as entry points of WR into the RTP process. Your musings welcomed and please let me know if you’re seeing other things.
Once the soft tissue injury is healed and basic movement function for everyday living and sporting activity is generally restored, then WR could provide value in three areas in the RTP process.
Given the myriad of light variable resistance options (unilateral-bilateral, proximal-distal, anterior-posterior, medial-lateral), that can be used specific to an individual’s multi-dimensional movement needs, I am thinking WR can play a significant role in the RTP toolbox. Thoughts?
