Another random thought. Do you think we've over complicated what we do? With all the advances in science and technology and their integration into training and playing, do you think we're making life difficult for ourselves?
As I reflect back I have been guilty of over-complicating things and adding to the noise out there. However, my filter has got better with age and I now understand that if we do a few simple things well, our athletes and ourselves will enjoy success.
Are there big boulders that we as S&C coaches should never venture too far from? What are your guiding principles, your big boulders, or as John Mikula said to me, what is your “true north?”
